Terms & Conditions

Booking & Deposit

- To secure Lovelix for your event, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total estimated cost is required at the time of booking.

- Bookings are confirmed only after the deposit is received and a signed agreement is on file.

- The remaining balance is due at the conclusion of the event unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

- Payment can be made via credit card, bank transfer, or other agreed-upon methods.

- These terms and conditions will be finalized, accepted, and signed upon placing the deposit and reserving the event date, subject to modification on approval of both Lovelix and the client.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

- Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the event will forfeit the deposit but will not incur additional fees.

- Cancellations made within 30 days of the event will be responsible for the full balance unless Lovelix is able to secure another booking for the same date.

- If Lovelix is unable to fulfill the booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., severe weather, vehicle breakdown, or other force majeure events), a full refund of the deposit will be issued, or an alternative date may be arranged.

Alcohol Service & Compliance with Wisconsin Liquor Laws

- Lovelix does not provide alcoholic beverages but may serve alcohol provided by the client, subject to Wisconsin liquor laws regulating caterers at private events.

- All alcohol service must comply with state regulations, including but not limited to:

- Service only to guests 21 and older with valid ID verification.

- No self-service or outside bartenders permitted underLovelix’s service agreement.

- Compliance with any additional venue restrictions on alcohol service.

- Lovelix reserves the right to refuse service to any guest who appears intoxicated or disruptive.

- The client assumes full liability for alcohol-related incidents.

Wisconsin Liquor Laws for Catered Events

- Under Wisconsin law, caterers serving alcohol at private events must hold a valid Class B liquor license or work under a licensed venue.

- Alcohol service must occur within the designated private event space and cannot be sold to the general public.

- Events must be prearranged and invitation-only, meaning alcohol cannot be served to walk-in guests or uninvited individuals.

- Clients may purchase alcohol themselves and provide it toLovelix for service in an open bar capacity, provided that:

- The alcohol is legally obtained from a licensed retailer.

- Lovelix is responsible for ensuring compliance with all liquor laws, including proper ID verification.

- No unauthorized alcohol is brought into the event by guests.

- Service ends at the agreed-upon time, and no alcohol is served after midnight unless permitted by local ordinances.

- The host is responsible for ensuring all alcohol served is legally obtained and properly managed.

- Additional local restrictions may apply based on the event location, and it is the client's responsibility to verify compliance with their venue and jurisdiction.

Venue & Setup Requirements

- The client is responsible for securing any necessary permissions for Lovelix to operate at the event venue.

- Lovelix requires access to a stable power source and potable water (if not available, alternative arrangements must be communicated in advance).

- Parking and setup space must be provided, including any required permits for mobile food/beverage service if necessary.

Guest Count & Service Adjustments

- Final guest count must be provided at least 14 days before the event.

- If the actual guest count exceeds the agreed amount, additional charges may apply.

- Lovelix will strive to accommodate last-minute changes, but service modifications cannot be guaranteed if requested within 72 hours of the event.

Damage & Liability

- Lovelix is not responsible for damage to venue property unless caused by negligence of Lovelix staff.

- The client assumes responsibility for any damages caused by event guests to Lovelix equipment or property.

- Lovelix carries general liability insurance, but additional coverage for specific events may be required by certain venues.

Force Majeure & Unforeseen Circumstances

- Lovelix is not liable for failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its control, including but not limited tonatural disasters, extreme weather, government restrictions, labor strikes, or other emergencies.

Agreement & Acknowledgment

- By submitting a booking request and signing this agreement, the client acknowledges and agrees to the above terms and conditions.

Blade brings a unique blend of project management, logistics, and hospitality experience to Lovelix. As a Project Lead at Xcel Energy, he oversees large-scale operations while drawing from his background in luxury hospitality, including his time as a maintenance engineer at The Charmant Hotel and bar manager at event-based venues. With expertise in high-level operations and customer-facing service, Blade manages Lovelix’s backend operations, financial strategy, and event logistics, ensuring seamless execution and sustainable growth.

Soren

Soren is the Owner & CEO of Lovelix, a title she proudly claims despite having a packed schedule of snack breaks, playtime, and the occasional nap. At just 2 years old, she brings a visionary leadership style that consists mostly of enthusiastic pointing, approving nods, and taste-testing whipped cream. As the chief decision-maker, she ensures that Lovelix maintains a high standard of fun, flavor, and flair. While her parents handle the logistics, Soren specializes in morale-boosting giggles and quality control. With her keen eye for aesthetics and an unmatched ability to charm, she guarantees that Lovelix remains a family-first, joy-filled business.
